Day 9 of Summer: May 27

Church x Grocery Shopping x Coldstone x Tennis x Birthday Party

Started off the week with a morning mass at St. Paul. Today, we went to the 11 mass instead of the 9 since my brother is finished with his catechism classes for the year. Dang it. Boring priest today. -__-

Finished church and went to Costco for some gas and to Seafood City for some roadtrip food for Seattle and Vancouver! Sooo Excited :)

Got home after groceries and had some leftovers for lunch. Fell asleep right after lunch, but then I woke up because I had a dream about ice cream. I then remembered Jean-Luc, Margaret, Chung, and I were supposed to get Coldstone on Eric’s shift! :D So Jean-Luc me up from my house and I was surprised to see 2 people already in his car. One of them was Rachelle, my ate that I haven’t seen in years! “I remember your voice was so squeaky!” We then picked up Margaret from her house. She took sooo long cuz she didn’t know what to wear! “What kind of pants are you wearing right now?! I’m not tryna have phone sex though!” LOL. Oh Jean-Luc and his awkwardness :D

We then drove to TJ Maxx first because Jean-Luc and Margaret were job hunting. They were told to check the apps online. Well, fuck you. Then, they went to the neighboring Jamba Juice and got the same response. Well, fuck you too. Anyways, we were about to walk inside Coldstone when we saw Eric was parking! We did the usual creep to the car and gave him a very warm pedo smile :)

So all of us then went inside to get some ice cream. It took us a reeeaaalllyyy looong while to choose the flavor. But when we chose, it was completely satisfying! Meet The Pie Who Loved Me :)

That ice cream really hit the spot! Hung out with Jean-Luc, Margaret, and Rachelle and talked about poop with Michael Jackson-like abilities and them other bull shit. We stayed at Coldstone for about an hour and a half just laughing and talking. People probably thought we were crazy. Just like Jean-Luc with a pool. LOL. Jk.

It was time for me to bounce around 7:30ish cuz I was going to play tennis with my homies at Bartholomew. Met up with Marky, Justin, JJ, Gerry, and Cartier to play some baseball and some tennis. Also saw Megan Su! Played til it got really dark around 10:30. Got stalked by cops on the way to the party all of our parents were at for a birthday. Ate some spaghetti and other free food. By 11, it was time to head home.

Got home and started packing for Seattle and Vancouver. Got hungry around midnight and decided to cook up some sausages w/ rice and grab some mango and ube ice cream from the freezer :D

Notes:

  • Coldstone > Leatherby’s
  • I love how the people I hangout with the most are falling in love and are getting better at tennis<3
  • “Taco and Vanilla lotion? Thas like main course and dessert right thur!”
  • Possibly the last time I’ll see Gerry.. Gahhh.. I’ll miss that nigga..

Day 7 & 8 of Summer: May 25 & 26

Middle College High School Graduation x Gabe’s House x Lodge Anniversary x Gerry’s House

Woke up at 8 for my usual daily run in Camden. Hopefully, by the time I return from Canada next week, I’ll be able to run farther than Camden. Didn’t go to anybody’s house in particular cuz it’d be a early morning dick move to wake them up for a hello and some water. Forever alone. Oh wells. Ran 2 miles and ran another 2 miles to go back home. Ate some longanisa and eggs for breakfast. Champion’s breakfast right thur! Fell asleep again on the couch after breakfast. Still not used to waking up early.Woke up for some steak lunch. After the hearty meal, I went to Marky’s house cuz we were going to attend our homie Gabe’s graduation in Stockton. So, I met up with Justin, Gerry, and Randy and we were Stockton bound.

We got to Stockton pretty fast. Arrived at Gabe’s house and was proud to see him decorated with a multitude of cords and stoles. Key Club stole woop woop! Went to Delta College for Middle College High School’s Graduation.

Surprisingly, they only had like 50 something students in their whole class.

Cheered for Gabe as he walked across the stage to get his diploma. “I LOOOVE YOU GAAABE!” “THAS MAH BOYYY RIGHT THUUUR THOOO!” “ALL THAT ASSS GUUURRRL!”

D27’s IP LTG Bruce was there too! :D

Finished up the 1 hour graduation and congratulated my homie as he had finished his high school career and 2 years of college. This nigga can graduate when he’s 20 doe! Mad jealous! :P

Justin was recording videos on our way to dinner. “Is that thing recording?” “Fuck studying and fuck school alright?! …Wait, your parents are gonna see this later… YOLO!” Gabe’s parents brought all of us to a Chinese dinner buffet nearby. Pretty good-looking and mouth-watering if I must say :)

Daaamn maaan. Took down 2 1/2 plates! Made that money worth it ahaha! We hit up Redbox in a nearby grocery store to watch movies later that night. Did I mention we’re all staying the night?! Bros night out!! Picked up Contraband, The Woman in Black, and Hangover 2. Returned back to Gabe’s house and didn’t feel like settling down. Gabe then told us that his class had a house party at a house that night. Stockton house post-grad function?! Leggo. The 5 of us then freshened up and hit up the party which was at 11. We went to Gabe’s friend’s house first to group up to storm the party. “I thought Stockton had hella high death rates and shit. How come they play sucky ass white music late at night?! Where them slaps doe?!”Met some of Gabe’s friends. Really cool people. Are high school graduates automatically hella chill people? Stormed the party at 11. Not really what I was expecting. Everybody was drinking. There was music, but nobody was dancing. WAAACK. So we bounced. Dropped off some of Gabe’s friends then got back home at like 12:30. Started watching movies and shit. BROS NIGHT OUT!!

Watched movies til I didn’t know what was happening anymore. Probably cuz I KO-ed at 3. Woke up at 11 and ate some brunch. After that, we were homebound to EG.

Took a quick shower and had to dress up fancy for the Anniversary of the Lodge. Marky, Justin, and Gerry presented the flag and what not. The whole crew served and cleaned up the dinner after it. Pretty okay I guess.

Then we went to Gerry’s house for his goodbye party. It was great seeing almost everyone in the crew there. Played basketball. Played baseball. Watched “Star Wars.” Made goodbye remarks. Went to Wal-Mart. Drive through at Starbucks. Smoked Twix bars. Etc.

Gerry will be going to the Philippines for college to pursuit his nursing career :(

Notes:

  • I still need a morning running buddy.
  • Should I do Cross Country?! I actually am starting to enjoy running.
  • Hella smart people at Middle College High School bro! If you work hard enough, you can take 2 years of your college away! Daaamn.
  • #TeamSober
  • I hate scary movies. FUUU.
  • “Can you get high of smoking Twix bars?” “Nope. But you can get a sugar rush!”
  • I’ll miss my brother Gerry since he’s always there almost every day if possible, he’s always the center of attention and jokes, and he’s just the type of person to make you feel better if you have a really crappy day. I pray that he’d do his best and accomplish his endeavors and goals.
Grad buffet dinner! Mmmm :) (Taken with instagram)

Day 6 of Summer: May 24

Home x Home x Home

Woke up at 8 and slept back at 8. I was too lazy to get up for some reason. I didn’t feel like running this morning. Gahhh. Woke back up at 11 for some breakfast. Gahhh I regret not running. After some breakfast I decided to eat ice cream.

Mmmm. Cookies and cream :D Decided I might as well make use of my time at home so I started on my committee packets for WDBE. Really excited being apart of 3 committees :)

While I was working, my dad brought me some Panda Express for dindin!

Anyways, now webcamming again with the real niggas w/ Eric! :D

Notes:

  • I regret not running. Did I already mention that?
  • I ran out of ice cream today. Gahhh.
  • These daily recaps are boring if I stay home. It’s a sign to go out everyday! :D

Talking to Dylan about WDBE

  • Me: What mini games should we have on WDBE?
  • Me: So people don't get bored if they're not in the tournament and all..
  • Dylan: How about dodge ball?
  • Me: WDBE IS Water DODGE BALLoon Extravaganza! LOLOL.

WHO WORE IT BETTER?
On tonight’s exclusive edition of WHO WORE IT BETTER?, we compare two different equestrian portraits from two different time periods done in two different art mediums! To the left is the oil on canvas Malmaison version of Napoleon Crossing the Alps by French artist Jacques-Louis David (1800), and to our right is the CGI portrait of Claire Farron (codename “Lightning”) from Square Enix’s Playstation 3 title, Final Fantasy XIII (2009)!
We first take a look at David’s portrait of France’s first emperor, Napoleon Bonaparte! Won’t you just look at the detail on his orange cloak fit only for a self-proclaimed consul! The painting, which is an idealized render of Napoleon’s campaign through the Great St. Bernard Pass in the Swiss Alps, renders Napoleon as focal point and as a means to symbolically boost his image, is depicted disproportionately large to his steed! But check out his famous, bare handed gesture, as if to say, “I, Napoleon, wish not for bloodshed, but for peace throughout all Western Europe!” Such propaganda was prevalent in royal portraiture to boost popularity with the public, and David executes the motif with such chic!
But Lightning is in a class all her own! Unlike Napoleon, the CGI team at Square Enix’s 1st Production Department shows her realistically proportioned to her Eidolon Odin, who in true Norse-based mythology style, is in the form of his horse Sleipnir (while Sleipnir in Norse mythology is actually six-legged, Odin in Final Fantasy XIII has the realistic four). But who needs propagandized body proportions when you have as much control over a wild steed as much as this former Guardian Corps soldier turned fugitive Pulse l’Cie! She remains steady on Odin’s reared back without even so much as a set of reigns, wielding his dual blades with ease and charging into battle with such confidence as if to cry out, “I’m no fal’Cie slave!” Lightning definitely strikes hard in this one! As she would have it, there are some things in life you just do!
Two famous takes on the ever so popular equestrian portrait, but we beg the question: WHO WORE IT BETTER?finalfantasythings:

Day 5 of Summer: May 23

Camden x Tennis x Wingstop x Seafood City x Jean Luc’s House

Up at 7 for my usual morning run. I was going to run to my friend’s house on Bond Rd., but my veteran runner father advised me to stay in Camden to build my endurance. K. Thas cool. Thanks for underestimating me like you always do. So without freedom to freerun, I once again journeyed to Camden. Passed by Alex’s and Margaret’s house! :D

Took pictures of their houses cuz I didn’t want to wake them up :3 #staycreepin LOL. Anyways, ran back home to eat breakfast. Got home, laid on the couch to lazily attempt to remove my shoes. and accidentally fell asleep for 3 hours ahaha! Oh wells. Lunch time it is. Ate lunch with the fambam then got dropped off at the park beside Elk Grove Elementary to play some tennis!

Moded pics :3 Smacked around balls with Margaret, Chung, Jean-Luc, and Silvia! “Balls balls balls. Don’t drop them on the floor.” LMAO. Then played 1 on 1 against Jean-Luc for his bucket list. We decided to go first to 5 games. I won 5-3. Impressive herpderp techniques by Jean-Luc ahaha! We then decided to reward ourselves with WINGATOP!

Mmmm. I missed my WANGS! “I like mine soaked in thick, creamy, white sauce.” Sucks how I couldn’t eat the extra seasoned fries though :/ Oh wells. Celery sticks  4 dayz! After we finished, Margaret and Silvia went home. So Jean-Luc, Chung, and I decided to hit up Seafood City to get ingredients for a halo-halo! :D Went shopping in the presence of “illipinos” and “swaggapinos.” We then hit up the neighboring SD Mart to look at some ghetto wear :3 After all the shopping, it was Jean-Luc house bound! His room looks better in person than on webcam! After the MTV Crib tour, we made some magic in the kitchen for our halo-halo!!

Before:

After:

Mmmm. Thas my favorite Filipino dessert doe!^^ Thanks Lola for teaching me your God-sent food-making ways! I had 3 servings bruh. Damn. LOL. After going off on those, JEan-Luc dropped that thun thun thun! JK. He dropped Chung and me off to our houses.
